Objective

To train and certificate personnel in the basic knowledge and skills to take charge of an incident and to provide emergency first aid in the absence of a fully qualified first aider.

Validation

Certificate valid for 3 years

Syllabus

Aims and principals of first aid, action to be taken at the scene on an accident, basic life support, management of an unconscious casualty, control of wounds and bleeding, recognition of shock, angina and heart attack.

£250 up to maximum of 12 people
