Welcome to Brightlingsea School of First Aid
Owner and trainer, Frank Pomroy, started his First Aid career as a St. John Ambulance cadet and still remains active today within the voluntary sector of the organisation.
Frank began teaching First Aid in 1976 for British Telecom and the St. John Ambulance. In 1981 he upgraded his certificate to ‘First Aid at Work’ to come inline with Health and Safety guidelines. In 1992 he was made redundant from British Telecom turning his interest into his career, becoming a freelance First Aid trainer working for a number of different companies and organisations.
Over the prevailing years, Frank has kept his skills up-to-date by attending different companies’ training days and gaining the City and Guilds 7307 Teaching Certificate. His teaching portfolio has been extended to include other relevant subjects
Frank‘s aim in teaching is to give his clients a high and satisfactory standard of training building a course around his clients’ needs all within HSE guidelines.
